The repair of the damaged paint-areas

It is most important that the surface is free from salt before a paint-layer is applied. That could be a challenge, but salt is easily removed with fresh water.

The repair of the damaged paint-areas is a standard procedure with Brantho-Korrux. It must be assured that the old paint around the damaged area has perfect adhesion to the metal surface. And in the damaged area itself it must be assured that enough paint film thikness is applied. (Very often damaged areas have a very rough surface and it may be necessary to apply two layers in two different colours.)
